Artist's statement— So often the beauty of southern Utah stops me in my tracks. I should be hiking. I should be hurrying somewhere. But I'll look up and see the perfect blue of distant mountains, or reflected orange in red rock shadows, and I stop to admire it. If I have time (and paint) I try to share the beauty I see by putting it on canvas. This collection of paintings shares some of the places I've been and some of the wonder I experience when I'm outdoors in southern Utah.
